Kelly Clarkson Transformed Hall & Oates' Hit "Maneater" for a Mesmerizing Cover

Kelly Clarkson can devour any song she puts her mind to!

During her cover of "Maneater" by Hall & Oates, Clarkson put her own unique spin on the tune with a slowed down tempo and dreamy instrumentals. She crooned the lyrics to the verses before letting her voice soar in the chorus. She then wrapped everything up with a tone that was super relaxing but will still somehow manage to give you goosebumps. 

What to know about "Maneater" by Hall & Oates

Written by Daryl Hall and John Oates, "Maneater" is one of the duo's biggest hits to date. Released in 1982, it reached the number one position on the Billboard charts for four weeks. In an interview with Ultimate Classic Rock, Oates explained that the belief that the song is about a woman is a common misconception, when it is actually a song about New York City in the 80s.
