Kodi Lee Introduced Brand New Additions to His Family — and They're Too Cute
The America's Got Talent Season 14 winner shared an incredibly cute family update.
Kodi Lee just made some new friends!
On July 17, the America's Got Talent Season 14 Winner uploaded a sweet video of him playing with some adorable puppies. In the clip, Lee grins from ear to ear while the cute pups climb on his lap while wagging their tails. "Surprise! These are our new puppies. Puppies are great for emotional support. And a good laugh," it said in the video while Lee's original song "Hello World" played over the clip.
"Surprise!🐶❤️ Looks like we have some new family members😲 What about you!?👇 Happy Sunday Everyone!" Lee captioned the post.
Kodi Lee and his mom, Tina Lee, have the best relationship
While Lee's family certainly just got bigger with the new puppies, he already has a tight-knit relationship with his mother, Tina Lee. This Mother's Day, Kodi posted the most heartwarming montage of him and Tina spending some boding time together to give her a shoutout for being his biggest supporter since day one.
"Hey Guys! 👋 I was so busy hanging out with my awesome mom on Mother’s Day, I almost forgot to post about how amazing she is!🙈 Happy Mothers Day To The Best Mom Ever! Isn’t she just the best?!😍❤️ ," Lee captioned his post.
Lee also gave Tina a sentimental shoutout on Valentine's Day. In an email interview with Deseret News, he opened up about his favorite song, which is "I Love You Always Forever" by Donna Lewis. The reason? The lyrics remind him of his love for his mother.
“It’s my favorite love song because my mommy sang that song to me, my whole life, even as a baby!” Lee told the outlet. “It makes me feel loved and secure that my momma will always love me and be there for me.”
Tina has always been in awe of Lee's talents, and was by his side during his initial America's Got Talent Audition.
“We found out that he loved music really early on. He listened and his eyes just went huge. And he started singing, and that’s when I was in tears,” Tina told the Judges. “Cause that’s what I realized: ‘Oh my gosh, he’s an entertainer.’ So, it actually has saved his life, playing music.”
Then, as a fan favorite, Kodi went on to perform on America's Got Talent: All-Stars.
"I think I was the nervous one when we came to AGT, and he was an excited young man ready to show the world what he had," Tina said before Lee's first All-Stars performance. "I didn't even know what to expect... When he won, the first thing that popped in my mind was, 'The whole world just won.' I get to see him live a life like everybody else."
