Kodi Lee Puts an Impressive Upbeat Twist on One of Steve Lacy's Earliest Hits
The America's Got Talent Season 14 winner did a piano rendition of the funky song.
On November 20, America's Got Talent Season 14 winner Kodi Lee shared a clip of him singing a version of the groovy tune "Some" by Steve Lacy.
During Lee's rendition, he wore cool shades while playing low notes on his piano. He then put his own spin on the track, giving it an upbeat tempo. And of course, he hit some impressive high notes along the way.
"I’m feeling this Steve Lacy song today! 😎✨ Sing along with me! 🎤🎹 #Some #SteveLacy #SongCovers #KodiLee," he captioned the video.

This hasn't been the only time Lee has covered some R&B tunes lately. On November 9, he shared another video of him singing the hit "Sugar" by Brockhampton. During his rendition, he made the song totally his own, and his voice sounded silky smooth while doing so.
"I added my own twist to Sugar by Brockhampton! What do you think?!" he captioned the post.
You'll certainly be hearing more from Kodi Lee lately, as he is one of the Acts slated to participate in America's Got Talent: Fantasy League in 2024. Premiering Monday, January 1, at 8/7c, the show is a spin-off of the original America's Got Talent series. This time, each Judge has 10 Acts on their team, and they mentor the contestants during the competition process. And we can't wait to see what Lee has in store this time!
What to know about "Some" by Steve Lacy
