Lee loves covering power ballads, and AGT fans love listening. Michael Jackson's "Man in the Mirror," Train's "Drops of Jupiter," and the late Tina Turner's "The Best" are just a few iconic songs within Lee's recent roster of jaw-dropping covers, which the AGT legend shares on Instagram. On July 1, Lee took to the app to share his electric rendition of Hozier's iconic love ballad.

Lee fearlessly tweaked the tune to make way for his ability to perfectly belt any note. His silky vocals and passionate piano playing steal the spotlight time and time again as he continues to prove that he can sing virtually any song at an All-Stars level.

"Happy Saturday Guys! Who remembers this song!? Thank you for all the awesome song suggestions 😎✨," Lee captioned the mind-blowing snippet on July 1. "What do you want to hear next!?👇 #takemetochurch #hozier #coversong #kodilee #kodileerocks #agtwinner."

What to know about "Take Me to Church" by Hozier

"Take Me to Church" is responsible for shooting the Irish musician Hozier to worldwide fame in 2013. The breakout single was later featured as the opening track on his 2014 self-titled debut album. The ballad centers around a lover comparing their relationship to religion as they reflect on their partner with awe. Hozier's platinum-level single has been covered dozens of times in media, notably in AGT Season 10 when Sharon Irving received a Golden Buzzer for auditioning with the Hozier ballad and in Season 7 of The Voice when Matt McAndrew covered the tune during his Top 12 performance.
