Leslie Jones has spent much of her life onstage making people laugh, as both a five-season Saturday Night Live cast member and a longtime standup comic. In Leslie F***ng Jones: A Memoir, the comedian recounts stories from childhood and her days starting out in comedy, in addition to the array of wild experiences she's had throughout her career. And it's all told from Jones' distinctively hilarious point of view.

How to Watch

Watch Saturday Night Live Saturdays at 11:30/10:30c on NBC and Peacock, streaming next day on Peacock.

"I’m sharing it all in these pages," Jones wrote in a press release touting the book on her site. "It’s not easy being a woman in comedy, especially when you’re a tall-ass Black woman with a trumpet voice."

Lucky for late night fans, Jones is kicking off a six-date book tour on the same day as her memoir's release on September 19—and the first date features a conversation with fellow SNL alum Seth Meyers.

While Jones' and Meyers' time on the sketch comedy show barely overlapped (Jones started as a writer in the second half of season 39, just before Meyers departed to host Late Night with Seth Meyers), Jones made it clear in a 2020 Late Night interview that Meyers was a vocal supporter of her talent early on. The two went on to make "Game of Jones," a delightful recurring Late Night feature in which Meyers and Jones reacted to episodes of Game of Thrones together.

On September 11, Jones announced that her "good friend" Kenan Thompson, SNL's longest-running cast member, will play interviewer during her Philadelphia tour stop on September 22. In August of 2022, Jones was on hand to deliver a speech when Thompson received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. "We had some great times and some great memories," she said at the time. "Kenan, I want to tell you that I have learned from you immensely."
