August 16 marked the 38th birthday of Mandy Moore's husband, Taylor Goldsmith. To celebrate the occasion, the former This Is Us star took to her official Instagram page to give the most heartwarming shoutout to her hubby.
The array of photos showcased Goldsmith strumming on his guitar, including moving snapshots of him embracing the couple's two sons, Gus, 2, and Ozzie, 9 months, that he shares with Moore.
"Happy Birthday to my favorite everything- husband, friend, dad, writer, singer, thinker, adventure companion, cooler head, coffee aficionado, sweets sneak, criterion critic, cautious optimist, lovable goof…I can’t believe we’ve spent 9 birthdays together. We’ve climbed mountains (literally), made babies, made records, built homes, lost loved ones, lived through a pandemic and so much more," Moore gushed in the caption.

She continued: "I’m not sure what kind of noble act I performed in a past life that has allowed me to share this one with you but wow, I am oh so grateful."

Meanwhile, Moore's This Is Us co-star Chrissy Metz commented in support. "Happy Birthday, Taylor!" she wrote.
Mandy Moore on wanting more kids
While the Moore-Goldsmith family is already complete as it is, Moore hasn't completely crossed out the possibility of having three children, much like her character Rebecca Pearson in This Is Us.
“Truth be told, I haven’t shut the door on a larger family," Moore told E! News in March. As for if Goldsmith will be on board, only time will tell. "I don’t know what my husband is thinking. I know right now he’s sort of like: ‘What? That’s crazy! It's so hard!’ And it is. It's so hard. It's non-stop, all hands on deck right now. So maybe, perhaps, but I don’t know.”

She continued: “I’m keeping that door open for a little bit longer. I think it's still, like, hormones coursing through. I mean, I look at all these cute clothes in collaboration with Gymboree and I’m like, ‘Gosh darn it, I really want a girl.' It's like, I look a friends with little girls and all of the accessories kill me,” she said with a sigh.
