Marina Squerciati Met Up with TV Beau Patrick John Flueger & His Actual Girlfriend
The two actor's characters Burgess and Ruzek have had a tumultuous love story on Chicago P.D.
It looks like two Chicago P.D. stars just hit the town for a fun night out!
On September 7, Marina Squerciati (Kim Burgess) posted a snapshot of her hanging out with her co-star and on-screen beau, Patrick John Flueger (Adam Ruzek) before a Tove Lo concert. They were accompanied by Flueger's IRL longtime girlfriend, actress and model Reem Amara.
In the picture, Squerciati rocked a baggy denim jacket while Flueger wore a black baseball cap.
"Reunited!" Squerciati eagerly captioned the post.

In June, Flueger and Amara also ran into another Chicago P.D. star, Tracy Spiridakos (Hailey Upton), while in Italy. In the picture posted to Spiridakos' Instagram account, the three all smile and embrace while posing in front of some statues.
"You guys! I found a Paddy and a Reem in Rome 😍🤗🤗," Spiridakos captioned the post.
"Jealous. HAPPY FOR YOU ALL. And jealous," commented Squerciati.
Ruzek and Burgess's future on Chicago P.D.
In Season 10, Episode 17, we see Burgess and Ruzek rekindle their on again, off again romance. However, the Season 10 Finale ended in tragedy when Ruzek was shot during an undercover operation. We last saw him being rushed to emergency surgery, and viewers will have to wait until the Season 11 premiere to find out his fate.
In a February interview with NBC Insider, Squerciati teased fans of what they should expect of the Burgess and Ruzek romance.
"I think she finally realizes that she's been pushing Adam away since the incident when she was shot," Squerciati she told us. "She thought she'd dealt with it, the trauma, but she's been closing herself off to Adam, inadvertently, so as not to feel anything. Pain, love, desire. She loves him and wants to open up to him, so hopefully this will lead her towards that."
"She's finally trying to fix herself so she can love herself and then love him," she added, alluding to the couple rekindling.
Showrunner Gwen Sigan also weighed in. "Burgess and Ruzek's relationship will definitely grow and change," she told us. "They're going through so much together, especially towards the end of this season, and all of it bonds them closer."

Meanwhile, in a November 2022 interview with NBC Insider, Flueger talked about how his character feels towards Burgess before they got back together.
"He has a mad amount of respect for how hard she works at everything. I don’t think you would ever in this moment see him get out in front of her or try and guide her, as much as just be there for the trust fall. Be there to say, 'Look, if you need anything, I’m here for you.' But also just to remind her as somebody that loves her dearly, whatever she may or may not be going through is OK. If she’s dealing with it, that’s OK," he told us.
