Marina Squerciati Looked Stunning in Red for a Mountaintop Wedding: See the Pic!
The Chicago P.D. star, who plays officer Kim Burgess, shared the sweetest look at her best friend's big day.
Marina Squerciati just helped her friend celebrate a very special day!
On April 30, the Chicago P.D. star took to her official Instagram page to show off a picture of her attending a beautiful outdoor wedding. The elegant snapshot showed Squerciati standing next to the bride, as they both posed with wide smiles on their faces. Squerciati wore her hair down in loose waves while she sported a bright red off the shoulder gown. The two stood in the snow in front of some scenic mountains on a sunny day in Utah.
"My bestie got married on a mountain top and it was perfect! Well, not perfect... I wore suede heels in the snow, but I have no one to blame but myself. #chiarabonilapetiterobe #prabalgurung #mountainweddings #snowwhite #parkcityutah #parkcity #winterweddings #welltechnicallyspring @chiarabonilapetiterobe @prabalgurung," Squerciati captioned the gorgeous post, with co-star Tracy Spiridakos responding with a heart-eye emoji.
While Squerciati seems to be having a blast behind the scenes of Chicago P.D., what goes on during filming is much more intense. This season, we saw her character Burgress and her on-again-off-again partner Ruzek finally get back together after years of tension in Season 10, Episode 17's "Out of the Depths".
On March 27, Squerciati posted a heartwarming selfie with her and co-star Patrick John Flueger (Ruzek), and dropped a mysterious message about the landmark episode for fans.
“Attention Burzek fans: DO NOT MISS THIS WEEK'S EPISODE.I REPEAT, DO NOT MISS THIS WEEK'S EPISODE. I've said too much already. 🤫 #thiswednesday #imsoexcited #yougottawatchlive #chicagopd #burzekarmy #burzekfans #nodvringthisiwantyoureyeslive @nbconechicago @pjflueger,” she captioned the post, giving us an exciting teaser.
In an interview with NBC Insider, Squerciati also spilled the beans about what fans should expect between Burzek.
"I think she finally realizes that she's been pushing Adam away since the incident when she was shot," she told us. "She thought she'd dealt with it, the trauma, but she's been closing herself off to Adam, inadvertently, so as not to feel anything. Pain, love, desire. She loves him and wants to open up to him, so hopefully this will lead her towards that."
Showrunner Gwen Sigan also weighed in to NBC Insider. "Burgess and Ruzek's relationship will definitely grow and change," Sigan said. "They're going through so much together, especially towards the end of this season, and all of it bonds them closer."
To see more action unfold, be sure to watch Chicago P.D. on NBC Wednesdays at 10/9c and next day on Peacock.
