Mariska Hargitay Walked the Runway with Her BFF Ali Wentworth: See the Delightful Video
The SVU star was a vision while walking the Oscar de la Renta Fashion Show runway.
Mariska Hargitay might be best known for her iconic role as the driven Captain Olivia Benson on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, but she's making a strong case for a career in modeling after a recent outing. Hargitay attended the 2023 Colleagues Spring Luncheon and Oscar de la Renta Fashion Show, where she made some lovely memories with one of her closest friends, Ali Wentworth.
Hargitay rolled up to the event looking exquisite in a floral Oscar de la Renta dress and matching floral clutch. And outside of looking beautiful in the de la Renta number, the SVU actress was also the proud recipient of the Champion of Children Award for her efforts as founder of the Joyful Heart Foundation. It was presented to her by Wentworth.
During the Fashion Show portion of Hargitay's day, she teamed up with the In Living Color and Jerry Maguire star, Wentworth, to walk down the runway. Hargitay sashayed down the walkway to RuPaul's "Sissy That Walk", channeling her beauty icon mother (the late Jayne Mansfield) during the exciting runway moment.
Based on Hargitay's impeccable runway appearance, you'd never believe that weeks prior, Hargitay was likely filming a gritty SVU scene! The video from the Fashion Show is made even more entertaining by Wentworth's wacky exit.
Wentworth posted the endearing clip of the runway to Instagram, and it's a Law & Order fan must-watch. "I also got to live my dream of walking a runway to a @rupaulofficial song!" Wentworth captioned the sweet IG video. "Thank you to @oscardelarenta @tokibunbun @fernandogarciam1205 for this amazing dress and being apart of this lovely event to benefit @thecolleaguesla @therealmariskahargitay @thejhf 👗👗👗💃💃💃PS I am available for any future catwalk moments in LA, NY, London, Paris, or Milan!"
One delighted fan commented, "Slay that runway girls!!! This song is such a perfect fit!!!! You need to walk more runways together absolutely perfect!!! The bestie post was swarmed with love and adoration from fans far and wide.
Hargitay also documented heartwarming moments from the event with a sweet Instagram post of photos, looking amazing in each pic. "How glorious to spend the afternoon dressed by @oscardelarenta with special thanks to @fernandogarciam1205 and @tokibunbun for letting me shine," Hargitay captioned the IG post. "Thank you @thecolleaguesla for your dedication to and important work for the children of Los Angeles. I was also deeply moved by the way you recognized and honored the work of @thejhf."
