While most people might struggle balancing a healthy family life and the chaos of their work life, there's nothing Law & Order: Special Victims Unit's Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) can't handle.

Ever since his first appearance, SVU fans have adored Benson's relationship with her on-screen son, Noah Benson (Ryan Buggle). Hargitay may have three of her own kids at home, but when the cameras are rolling, it's all about Benoah. Adopted by Benson in Season 15, Noah has been involved in several plot lines, often showcasing how far Benson is willing to go to protect her family.

Hargitay made a lovely Instagram post of her time hanging out with her honorary son, posing for a selfie alongside Buggle. She captioned the pic, "The Benson’s ♥️♥️ #MamaBenson #BabyBenson #Svu24 #benoah." We love a Benson family photo!

Benson has jumped through hoops and hurdles for her son time and time again throughout Law & Order: SVU. As expected, Benson takes mama bear to the next level, and you don't want to be the one messing around with her cub. After years of doubting whether or not she'd make a good mom as such an active member of the SVU, Benson has proved just how capable she is of being a fantastic mother.

“I knew very early that this wasn’t a regular TV show," Hargitay recently revealed to Access. "I understood very quickly the power of healing this television show had...When I started SVU, very quickly I started to receive a different kind of fan letter. Instead of, you know, ‘I love your show; you’re a great actress,’ it was women and men disclosing stories of abuse. People started sharing and saying, ‘Your show changed my life,’ and ‘I’ve never told anyone [about my abuse].'"
