See Mariska Hargitay Dancing with Reese Witherspoon at Taylor Swift's Eras Tour
The SVU star shared the best videos from the concert on her Instagram.
Mariska Hargitay can't stop grooving to T-Swizzle!
On May 7, the Law & Order: SVU star totally let loose at a massive Taylor Swift concert. The first clip on her Instagram page showed Hargitay at the Eras Tour in Nashville, Tennessee. In the video, Hargitay is in the back of the crowd, mouthing the lyrics to "The Man" with a big grin on her face before giving a thumbs up to the camera.
In another post, we caught a glimpse of Hargitay absolutely rocking out to Swift's hit "Shake it Off", having a blast. You can also see Reese Witherspoon and her 23-year-old daughter, Ava Philippe, to the far right of the frame as they dance along with the SVU star. She even gave them a shoutout in her Instagram caption.
"'It's like I got this music in my mind Saying it's gonna be alright' 🎶Thank you magnificent and miraculous @taylorswift for your magic. It’s such a gift to be in your stunning, sparkly, powerful and délicate wonderland. How do you make a stadium filled with with 70,000 people feel like your cozy living room♥️ You are pure magic! Thank you for exquisite talent, your courage and all your wisdom. Your STAMINA!!and your #SHIMMER #ShakeItOff glorious night @reesewitherspoon and avaphillippe♥️💃🏻🙏🏼😘 #Nashville #erastour," Hargitay gushed in the caption.
Hargitay also offered a closer glimpse of Swift performing "Bad Blood". The stage was set up with orange-red lighting while Swift strutted on stage wearing a sparkly silver dress.
Hargitay and Swift have the best friendship (Swift even named her cat Olivia Benson!) The two stars first met at the Met Gala, but officially hit it off when Swift offered to give Hargitay a ride home from a concert in Queens.
In an interview with TODAY, Harigtay explained how the messages in Swift's music has affected her. "I've certainly had thin skin at times, and things hurt my feelings, and you sit there and go, 'Why do you let that hurt your feelings?" Hargitay said, referencing "Shake it Off".
"Shake it off and move on. What a beautiful lesson. There are certain things in life we need to put our attention on, and there's other things we don't."
Hargitay expressed a similar sentiment about the song in 2015 when TIME named Swift one of the top 100 influential people of the year. "I’m amazed at how much earned wisdom Taylor threads into her work. She seems tuned in to the greater good, and she embraces — thoughtfully and authentically — the chance to contribute to the world," she told the outlet.
"The haters are gonna hate, but, well, shake it off... Along with her staggering list of accomplishments, perhaps the most exciting thing about Taylor is that she’s just getting started with what she plans to mine from her fierce, curious, boundlessly talented, and beautiful heart."
