A Sinister Kidnapper, a Tough Missing Persons Expert — Meet the Cast of New NBC Drama Found
On Found, an unconventional set of heroes is determined to bring home the missing, while carrying their own set of scars.
NBC’s edgy new crime drama Found focuses on the lost — who sometimes get forgotten.
The fast-paced drama is inspired by the fact that each year more than 600,000 people are reported missing and more than half are people of color, although their stories often do not receive as much media attention as their white counterparts.
Public relations specialist Gabi Mosely, played by Shanola Hampton, has set out to change that, focusing on the missing person cases that often get ignored by others, with the help of a uniquely-qualified and highly skilled team — each with their own set of personal demons.
Without the restrictions law enforcement agencies face, the team is able to find creative ways to track down the missing by any means necessary. But Gabi has a secret associate aiding her and the team with her mission ...
Before Found launches this fall, meet the talented cast who bring it all together:
Who does Shanola Hampton play on Found?
Shanola Hampton plays the unconventional hero Gabi Mosely, a one-time kidnapping victim turned public relations specialist who now runs a firm dedicated to finding missing people.
“Here is what I do know #Found is a project with purpose! Our creator @kech99, our WRITERS, our crew, and this cast put so much heart, love, and work into this show,” Hampton wrote on Instagram., along with a promo for the show. “ I am ELATED to FiNALLY share a little piece of our heart!”
While Gabi spends her days trying to outsmart the kidnappers of the world, she’s also engaged in some questionable activity of her own. After secretly tracking down her own kidnapper, an intelligent yet terrifying man known as “Sir,” Gabi is holding him captive in her own basement where she forces him to offer his criminal expertise on many of the cases she takes on.

As for Hampton herself, she is perhaps best known for her portrayal of Veronica, the Gallaghers' sassy next door neighbor on Shameless. She’s also appeared on The Neighborhood, Stalker, Criminal Minds, Miami Medical, Reba and Scrubs.
The Los Angeles-based actress and mother of two also starred in the 2010 comedy You Again and independent films They Die by Dawn and Things Never Said.
Who does Mark-Paul Gosselaar play on Found?
Mark-Paul Gosselaar, who rose to fame in the '90s as the loveable troublemaker Zach Morris in Saved by The Bell, is taking on a much darker role in Found.
Gosselaar plays Sir, a man who makes a habit of kidnapping young girls. Gabi was one of his victims, but she has now turned the tables on him — he’s the captive, being held in Gabi’s stark basement.
Nearly every ‘90s kid knows Gosselaar for his role in Saved By The Bell, but his acting credits don’t end there. For four seasons, Gosselaar played Det. John Clark on NYPD Blue. He’s also known for his role as Peter Bash in the buddy legal comedy Franklin & Bash and Paul Johnson on Mixed-ish. Gosselaar even famously reprised his role as Zach Morris in Peacock’s revamped version of Saved by The Bell in 2020.
Who does Gabrielle Walsh play on Found?
Gabrielle Walsh will take on the role of Lacey Quinn, a law school student who works at Gabi's firm. The women have more in common than just sharing a workplace, however.
“So proud to be apart of this project!” she wrote on Instagram. “It’s quite a precarious time to be celebrating the success of my first official series regular position. Sag is on strike, I stand with my actors and the wga. This work is a testament to the value we put in as artists!”
Before taking on the role of Lacey, Walsh starred in Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones. On television, she played Ana Flores in 9-1-1 and voiced the character Emily in the animated series Close Enough. She’s also appeared in FBI: Most Wanted, NCIS, The Flash and East Los High.
Who does Brett Dalton play on Found?
Brett Dalton will play Mark Trent, a cop often caught between his role as a police officer and his desire to help Gabi and her team.
Fans may know Dalton from his role as Grant Ward on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Carter Griffin on The Equalizer, or his role as Lt. Jason Pelham on Chicago Fire. Dalton has also appeared in his share of romance movies including Cooking With Love, Just My Type and Once Upon a Christmas Miracle.
Who does Kelli Williams play on Found?
Kelli Williams takes on the role of Margaret Reed, the office’s mother figure of sorts. She’s honed her “superpower” of keying in on often overlooked details after her own son was kidnapped. Each night, she heartbreakingly waits at the bus stop looking for any sign of her missing child.

Williams herself is no stranger to crime dramas. She landed her breakout role in 1997 as Lindsay Dole on the legal drama The Practice and later starred in Lie to Me. She also had multi-episode roles in Medical Investigation, Men in Trees, Army Wives, Ties that Bind and The Fosters.
Who does Arlen Escarpeta play on Found?
Arlen Escarpeta portrays Zeke Wallace, a tech expert whose own past experience of being abducted as a child has given him a debilitating case of agoraphobia.
Escarpeta is perhaps best known for playing Bobby Brown in the 2015 TV movie Whitney or for his role as Damon Byrd on The Oath. He also appeared in Final Destination 5, S.W.A.T. and The Magicians.
Who does Karan Oberoi play on Found?
Rounding out the cast is Karan Oberoi who plays Dhan Rana. Like some of his coworkers, Rana was once missing himself — or as he tells it “abandoned and betrayed by people who looked out for him.” Although he remains emotionally distant from his teammates at time, he’s always determined to solve the case and help people.
Oberoi is perhaps best known for playing August Heart on The Flash and taking on the role of Noah Bracken in the TV series Roswell, New Mexico. He’s also appeared in the shows Training Day, NCIS, Conviction, Westworld and Notorious.
