Mel B's 18-Year-Old Teen Angel Is So Big Now in Amazing New Photos

Mel B is in a celebratory mood — and it's not because she's about to return as a Judge on America's Got Talent Season 20! (Although she's excited about that, too.)
On April 3, Mel B took to Instagram to sing the praises of her child, Angel — whom she shares with ex Eddie Murphy — who turned 18 that day! The post included an adorable photo carousel of Mel B and Angel throughout their lives together. It really is the sweetest thing.
The proud mama went above and beyond just sharing some family photos with fans — Mel B's adorable birthday message to Angel is her trademark enthusiasm and passion packed into one fantastic caption.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY ANGEL!!!" she wrote. "I cannot believe you're 18. You are so special and so bright and so talented!! I couldn't be prouder of watching you grow and become the person you are but you'll forever be my babyyyy, I hope you keep chasing your dreams and be kind to everyone around you like you always have been my Angel. Love you always ❤️❤️❤️."

Whenever the topic of Angel comes up, fans undoubtedly remember the epic birthing story Mel B famously told PEOPLE in 2007. The Spice Girl drove herself to the hospital before Angel was delivered!
"My water broke at home," she recalled. "I was by myself but I didn't want to be dramatic and call an ambulance. So I just got into the car and drove to the hospital. If anybody could have seen my facial expressions as I was driving — every time I had a contraction they would have wondered what was going on!"
What a badass!

The countdown is on. AGT returns with its milestone 20th Season on Tuesday, May 27 at 8/7c on NBC — mark your calendars! The Live Shows will begin Tuesday, August 19 at 8/7c, with results airing Wednesday nights at 8/7c.
Season 16 champion Dustin Tavella has advice for anybody looking to make their mark on Season 20.
"I would say for anyone who's wanting to be on the show, expect to be stretched and pushed to your max potential," Tavella told NBC Insider. "I always tell people to go on, have a blast, and be yourself. Just be ready to learn and soak up as much as you can. Because this is an experience that you're never gonna forget."
