Why Niall Horan Stole Tasha Jessen During The Voice Season 23 Knockouts | THE VOICE

Niall Horan has been a fabulous addition to The Voice Season 23 Coaches panel. Not only is he a pro at this whole music competition thing — he appeared on The X Factor in 2010 as a member of One Direction — he's an accomplished Artist with a specific point of view. That's exactly the kind of performer the Contestants on his Voice team want to be, and he's helping them get there.

How to Watch

Watch The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

If you want evidence of Horan's incredible artistry, look no further than to how he tackled Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" while in concert a few years back. He sang the rendition with Lewis Capaldi, who exploded onto the pop scene in 2018 with his track "Someone You Loved." Their voices work together nicely on their rendition of "Teenage Dream," which you can watch here

Horan took the bombastic pop song and transformed it into a melt-y, acoustic fireside delight. Emphasis on the word melt. It really does feel like you can sink into Horan's take on the song — which is a quality that permeates all his music.

Speaking of music: Horan has a new album coming out on June 9, 2023 titled The Show

“I would say for the new stuff, there is some experimentation going on," he told NBC Insider about the album. "Yes, just stuff I've gathered over the years, you know, like ideas that I've had, things that I've learned influenced me, I'm starting to hear them all already come through my music. So consciously, naturally, whatever you want to call it, it's just kind of happening. It feels really good. Feels the most mature. Again, I haven't released music since I was 25 or 26, and to be closing in on 30, I think you just gather more information as you go. So I'm starting to hear all of that stuff [in] my music. And what I'm saying is a bit more grown up I guess. And I wanted the sound of that to match what I'm saying. So I think it's my favorite stuff. And the best stuff that I've made."
