In an interview with TODAY for its April digital cover, The Voice alum's wife, Priyanka Chopra, revealed the sentimental meaning behind Malti Marie Chopra Jonas' name. Malti is the middle name of Chopra's mother, Dr. Madhu Chopra, while Marie is the middle name of Nick's mother, Denise Jonas. How sweet!
In the same interview, Chopra opened up about what her husband means to her. “He’s just so even-tempered, can handle anything thrown at him. And also has the ability to be vulnerable with me,” she said. “I feel safe with my husband. I wish that for everyone.”

Baby Malti was welcomed to the world via surrogate in January 2022. In June 2023, Jonas took to his official Instagram page to share the most heartwarming snapshot of himself cradling his 1.5-year-old daughter. In the picture, Jonas holds her in his arms and looks at her lovingly.
Two months later, Jonas shared pics of more bonding time he had with Malti and his wife in July. The first snapshot shows Chopra sitting on Jonas' lap while she rocks a red swimsuit. Then, we catch a glimpse of Jonas adorably holding Malti while she dips her toes in a pool. We then see the happy family of three giggling at a beach while baby Malti stands up by herself.
On May 2022, Jonas shared a loving tribute to Chopra on her first Mother's Day.
"Happy Mother’s Day my love. You are an incredible mother. You light up me and MM’s world every day," he wrote in the caption.
