Ever since Suits: L.A. was officially announced, fans worldwide have been speculating about, well, everything

How to Watch

Watch the series premiere of Suits: L.A. on Sunday, February 23 at 9/8c on NBC.

So far, all we know is that the series will revolve around a character named Ted Black, a former New York federal prosecutor dealing with the fallout of a firm falling apart around him. Of course, the show will be filled with very good-looking people in their best business attire. Why fix what isn't broken, right?

While the general plot of the series has been revealed, there are still many questions floating around that need answers – namely, who will be part of the cast of Suits: L.A., and will any of the original USA Network series' cast members appear in the spinoff?

As it turns out, the original Suits cast has been asking the same questions.

During filming of an upcoming Super Bowl commercialSuits stars Gina Torres, Rick Hoffman, and Sarah Rafferty reunited on screen once again – and while fans will have to wait until the big game to see the cast in the commercial itself, the cast didn't shy away from talking about the exciting new series in between takes! Thankfully, PEOPLE was on the set to get the lowdown from Gina, Rick, and Sarah and their thoughts on the upcoming spinoff.

In yet another piece of good news for Suits fans, Rafferty wasted no time volunteering herself – and her costars – for Suits: L.A. if they're needed.

"I mean, if they need Donna, and I'm assuming if they need – I'm just gonna speak for my friends here – Jessica or Lewis, we'll all put on our high heels and we'll march on up to Vancouver!" she revealed.

Even if the stars don't fully reprise their characters on the new series, we're crossing our fingers for at least a handful of memorable cameos early on in the first season of Suits: L.A. – call it fan service if you must, but millions of people are begging for it! Luckily, original Suits creator, Aaron Korsh, is part of the creative process of the upcoming spinoff, so if anyone will champion the return of fan-favorite characters, it would be him. However, no casting on the project has been confirmed.

Don't worry; Suits fans received more than just an offer from Sarah Rafferty to don her iconic high heels again – the three actors also started theorizing about what their characters have been up to since fans last saw them on television in the 2019 finale.

"What is Jessica Pearson doing at any given moment in time?" asked Torres before answering the question herself. "Sharpening her stilettos and figuring out which corner of the world she's going to take over next!"

Hoffman explained that Louis Litt is "probably causing a lot of chaos, but then at some point, somehow making up for the crap that he just laid in the office. And he somehow cleans it up."

Some things never change.

As far as Rafferty's character, Donna Paulsen, the actor put it all into perspective for fans.

"Donna's crushing it at work, and yes, she's wearing her outfits and all the things. And she's still keeping all those bonds – like, juicy and strong – with Jessica, with Louis, with everyone," the actress explained.

Fans will be happy to know that Hoffman couldn't resist chiming in, adding that he thinks "Louis keeps calling Donna to beg her to come work."

And although fellow star Wendell Pierce wasn't part of the commercial shoot, he didn't hesitate to give his opinion on the spinoff! In a recent interview with TV Insider, the actor who memorably played Robert Zane, expressed his desire to be part of Suits L.A.

"I would love to come back," he admitted. "I wish the spinoff to be a great success. And our returns or little cameos or whatever, hopefully, they'll be a part of the little Easter eggs that they throw in there with the show."

Meanwhile, Extended Family star Abigail Spencer also commented on where a reunion would find her character and seemed open to the idea of picking up with Dana Scott in the modern day as well.

So, that makes five actors who wouldn't mind making the trip to Vancouver, Canada, when filming begins in March!

We have to hand it to the millions of Suits fans out there who have supported the show not only during its original run on USA Network but during its surprising revival in the streaming world on platforms like Peacock – they've pretty much manifested the best-case scenario for Suits: a spinoff worthy of all the attention and good vibes the original show has earned!
