The Philadelphia Eagles' Jalen Hurts just won the Super Bowl MVP award, and Savannah Guthrie's kids' were lucky enough to see him just hours after his career-making moment.

How to Watch

Watch TODAY weekdays at 7AM ET on NBC.

In a moment captured by TODAY cameras on February 12 and shared on Instagram, 10-year-old Vale and 8-year-old Charley met their hero and congratulated Hurts on a job well done in the Super Bowl. Guthrie's husband, Michael Feldman, also had the opportunity to meet the quarterback, and looked equally as excited to do so!

Guthrie and her family are diehard Eagles fans, and meeting Hurts is just the cherry on top of an unbelievable few months of rooting for their favorite team. (Well, the second cherry on top if you include Craig Melvin being forced to get a tattoo of Guthrie on his neck due to the Eagles NFL success this year.)

"Best morning ever." 💚🏈🦅 #JalenHurts," the caption read.

Savannah Guthrie's kids were decked out in #1 jerseys in honor of the man of the hour, and the whole family even took a photo alongside the star to commemorate the occasion.

Hurts and the rest of his Eagles teammates have been on a whirlwind victory tour ever since winning the Super Bowl on February 9, and there's something about Guthrie's children crashing the set and meeting their hero that makes us all warm and fuzzy inside.

The entire family has been decked out in the familiar Eagles green all season, and who would've thought the family in this Instagram photo would meet the Super Bowl MVP just a few weeks later?
