Why Shanola Hampton Did a High Kick & Jumped for Joy in Front of Mark Paul Gosselaar
The two Found co-stars had something exciting to celebrate.
More missing persons cases are coming our way! As you may have heard, NBC's new twisted mystery thriller show Found has been renewed for a second season, and the only person happier than fans is series star Shanola Hampton (Gabi).
Heading into an event shortly after hearing the news, Hampton yelled out, "We got a season twoooooo!" pumping and waving her hands in the air. She even jumped up and down a bit and did a cheerleader-style kick, admitting, "I have no chill!"
Behind her, co-star Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Sir) also looked happy and also content to let Hampton have the celebratory spotlight to herself. Of course, he couldn't help but smile. The joyful moment was captured by journalist Dana Abercrombie and shared on her X (formerly known as Twitter) account.

Hampton also took to her Instagram to snap a photo of her celebratory high kick.
"This is a real time capture of how I felt minutes after finding out about Season 2! Y’all know I have #nochill! #wonthedoit," she wrote in a caption.
Both Found and The Irrational, which also premiered its debut season this Fall, have been given a second season. In a statement NBCUniversal’s Lisa Katz, President of Scripted Content, said, “These shows are a testament to the incredibly passionate work of our showrunners, Nkechi Okoro Carroll [Found] and Arika Lisanne Mittman [The Irrational], both of whom have executed their visions flawlessly...A huge thank you to the talented cast, producers, and crews for their tireless commitment and dedication, which has clearly paid off with audiences making these series must-see television on both NBC and the next day on Peacock.”

So, are Sir and Gabi meant to be on Found?
“I’m like, what does that say about you,” Gosselaar said of fans rooting for the kidnapper and his former abductee to get together. “I mean, thank you for watching the show, but boy, I’m — no Christmas card for you ... There’s a lot of people out there that need help.”
“People are kind of cuckoo,” Hampton said. “The relationship is not that of a sexual nature, which I think is also very weird because there is this chemistry, and generally when you see a male and female that have their kind of history, you think that it’s going to go to that dark love.” But she admits the dynamic is compelling: “We’re able to have this sort of chemistry and it leaves you in this completely gray area of, I don’t know what this is...I want to watch more, but I’m also creeped out.”
Can't wait to get even creepier next year!
