Sterling K. Brown Just Spilled All the Details on the This Is Us Cast Group Chat

This Is Us may be over, but fans are still eager for news on what the actors are currently up to. Thankfully, Sterling K. Brown (a.k.a Randall) is here to give us an update—specifically about the cast group chat we've heard so much about. 

Yes, the chat is still going strong. "That's my family," Brown revealed on the Today show when asked if the cast is still on a text chain. 

And of course, he gave some details. As for who the most frequent messenger is, Brown said, "Everybody kind of takes turns. [Jon] Huertas will say a lot of things. Justin [Hartley] will say a lot of stuff. Sue [Susan Kelechi Watson] actually kind of starts things up a lot. She'll be in New York a lot. She's the only person [from the cast] who lives in New York. Everybody else is in L.A. So she's like, 'What y'all doing?'" 

On the topic of which cast member is sending viral videos and memes, Brown said, "Chrissy Metz sends inspirational stuff. She's the inspirational Metz!" 

It's great to know this cast still hypes each other up. In the same interview Brown also gave a shout-out to Mandy Moore, who recently took home the Virtuoso Honorary Award at the Hollywood Critics Association Television Awards and the Television Critics Association Award for Individual Achievement in Drama. "Incredibly well deserved, eight months pregnant; I love you, Mandy Moore," Brown said.
