Why Terry Crews Got Called Out at the Grammys — and How it Related to Taylor Swift
The AGT: Fantasy League host got attention from Swift and many others that night.
Terry Crews and Taylor Swift have more in common than you might think.
During the 2024 Grammy Awards on February 4, host Trevor Noah made a comment about Swift getting a massive amount of attention recently while attending the NFL games of her beau, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Then, Noah decided to flip things on its head. ''Let her live! In fact, on Taylor's behalf, do you know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna give her a break. Every time, they mention Taylor Swift, I'm gonna get revenge. I'm gonna gonna cut the camera to someone who played football,'' he said.
The camera then promptly shifted towards Terry Crews sitting in the audience, who brought his wife, Rebecca King-Crews, as his date. (Context: Crews had an extensive career in the NFL before his America's Got Talent hosting days.)
''You like that like that Terry Crews?'' Noah joked to Crews, who looked surprised by the encounter. ''You better fix your face, Terry! Yeah, we're watching you all night, Terry, no relaxing for you!'' he added while Crews chuckled away. (Swift was also clearly amused by the whole ordeal.)

Crews then took to his official Instagram page to recap the moment the next day.
''So this happened last night…😂😂😂 Congrats @taylorswift on your epic win! 'She makes all of us feel things!' - @brooklyn99 @recordingacademy @taylorswift @trevornoah,'' Crews captioned the post, congratulating Swift on her historic wins, and making a perfect Brooklyn Nine-Nine reference.
Crews also shared another sweet clip of him and his beautiful wife in the front row, as he embraced her and referred to her as ''[his] baby.''

It turns out that Crews is a Swiftie like us and is not afraid to show it. In August 2023, the skilled pec-popper blessed us with a fun video of him dancing shirtless to Swift's 2019 tune ''Cruel Summer.'' In the video, he sprayed a hose around him and grooved to the bop with a big grin on his face.
"Not a cruel summer when you're staying..." he captioned the post.
On a calmer note, Crews turned 55 in July 2023, and reflected on how he's embracing getting older with a thoughtful Instagram post.
"I'm inspired and determined to be the best human being I can be," he wrote in the caption of him peacefully smiling and sitting on a boat. "The greatest thing about getting older - is the choice and decision to grow wiser. To see things in a new way, and the realization that the more you know, the more there is to know,"
