Seeing Kevin From The Office Meet Little Kevin From The Office Is Too Adorable
Don't worry, there was enough chili to go around.
Kevin Malone, meet Kevin Malone!
A The Office superfan had the opportunity to meet their favorite character from the hit NBC comedy during the first annual Dunder Con—a New Jersey fan convention for those obsessed with the series. NBC New York shared an adorable video of 11-year-old Max Spaeth dressed up as Kevin from accounting while meeting the real Kevin, a.k.a. actor Brian Baumgartner.
Spaeth rocked Kevin's signature tan suit jacket, khakis, tissue box shoes (a callback to Pam and Jim's wedding from Season 6), a jar of M&M's, and a balding hairdo. He even brought along a replica of Kevin's infamous pot of chili, a reference to one of the comedy's most beloved cold opens.
"Did your dad shave your head?" Baumgartner asked Spaeth in amazement before checking out the rest of his costume. "Well done. Very well done."
Speaking of chili, Baumgartner is releasing a cookbook all about the delicious stew called Seriously Good Chili Cookbook (out September 13). And for the other Office fans who just can't get enough of Kevin, Baumgartner also had a podcast called "The Office Deep Dive" which officially wrapped with 64 episodes in February. But no worries—the actor started a new podcast, "Off the Beat With Brian Baumgartner," which drops new episode weekly.
