The Voice Just Won an Emmy
A big congratulations are in order!
It's time to celebrate, because The Voice and NBC programming won big at the 2022 Creative Arts Emmy Awards!
The Voice took home the gold trophy for Outstanding Lighting Design and Lighting Direction for a Variety Series. The hit NBC series now has 32 Emmy Awards total.
The Creative Arts Emmy Awards showcase the show-stopping technical and artistic talent seen in a variety of programming, guest performances, and reality, documentary, and animation categories. The magic of television is thanks to these hardworking individuals that take programming to the next level, with NBC taking home five big wins this year.
NBC also got some love for the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show. The halftime special took home three Creative Arts Emmys for Outstanding Music Direction, Outstanding Live Variety Special, and Outstanding Production Design for a Variety Special. Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and 50 Cent starred and wowed football fans near and far with their iconic performances, with the technical achievements seen throughout creating a simply unforgettable show.
And last but not least, little orphan Annie took home the Creative Emmy for Outstanding Hairstyling for a Variety, Nonfiction, or Reality Program for Annie Live!
