The New Voice Season 24 Coaches Got Together for the First Time in an Epic Photo
Reba McEntire, John Legend, Niall Horan, and Gwen Stefani are officially kicking off the newest season of The Voice.
The Voice will be back and better than ever for Season 24!
On July 20, the official The Voice Instagram page posted an awesome preview of the upcoming season, which will air on Monday, September 25 at 8/7c. The snapshot showed Host Carson Daly along with Coaches Gwen Stefani, John Legend, Niall Horan, and Reba McEntire all standing together and smiling while on set.
"Get in besties, we're going to blinds. 🚗 🎶 #TheVoice returns with @reba, @johnlegend, @gwenstefani, and @niallhoran Sept 25th 8/7c on @nbc and streaming on @peacock," the account captioned the post.
"I’m baaaaaack!," Legend enthusiastically commented.
"I’d rather ride around with y’all!!!" McEntire chimed in.
Season 24 of The Voice has been filming since early July, as Host Carson Daly made an amusing Instagram post about his experience filming for the first time without his friend and Barmageddon co-host Blake Shelton. In the snapshot, Daly held up a camera while in his dressing room, making a funny and dramatic crying face.
"My first day ever shooting @nbcthevoice without @blakeshelton. We had a ritual of getting hair & makeup together for 23 seasons. I think I’m handling it well. Everything’s fine," he captioned the post.
Reba McEntire joins The Voice as a Coach for Season 24 and 25
While Blake's presence will surely be missed on The Voice, the Coach that will fill his void is more than experienced in the country music world herself. It was announced in May that Reba McEntire will be joining The Voice as a Coach, after she served as a Battle Advisor in Season 1, a Mentor in Season 8, and a Mega Mentor in Season 23.
In a 2022 interview on Watch What Happens Live, McEntire she revealed that she was asked to be a Coach for Season 1 when the show was in its developing stages, but she turned down the offer.
"It was a very popular show in Holland, I'm pretty sure, and I watched the tape, and I said, 'No, I'm going to pass on that,' because I don't think I could ever be able to tell somebody that they're terrible or go find another job or hope you like your nighttime job," she explained. "I couldn't do that day in and day out." We're sure glad she changed her mind!
Luckily, McEntire has plans to stay for Season 25. She will be joined by John Legend, Chance the Rapper, and duo Dan + Shay.
