It's official! The Voice Coach Gwen Stefani has announced her Advisor pick for the Battle Rounds:  Sean Paul.

How to Watch

Watch The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

"I grew up loving ska music, which was, at the time, like, super underground," Stefani told Entertainment Tonight. "[There were] a lot of English groups like Madness, The Specials, and The Selecter, which led me into reggae music... And then, it's just crazy to think that all these years later, I'm standing with a legend."

This isn't Gwen Stefani and Sean Paul's first time working together, either. They joined musical forces in May 2022 on "Light My Fire," a track from Scorcha, Paul's latest album.

"We had hooked up with this song, and I was like, 'Gosh, you know, I should get him to do [The Voice]. That would be perfect," Stefani added. "I just asked."

Paul also admits he's long been a fan of Stefani's music and vibe.

"[I've] definitely felt her vibes, her voice, and all of that from the No Doubt days all the way through 'Bananas' days... straight up to now," he said. "She's awesome... when she said yes [to working on 'Light My Fire'], I did a little dance."

The Battle Advisors lineup this year is star-studded.  Joining Team [John] Legend as a Battle Advisor is Jazmine Sullivan, the Battle Advisor for Team Camila [Cabello] is Charlie Puth, and Jimmie Allen will be the Battle Advisor for Team Blake [Shelton]. We're so excited to watch!

The Voice Season 22 premieres Monday, September 19 at 8/7c on NBC. Catch up on Peacock and on NBC.
