Tom Ball covered one of the greats once again — and totally made the song his own.
On July 3, the America's Got Talent: All-Stars finalist posted a teaser of himself effortlessly singing a classic jazz tune: "Feeling Good" by Nina Simone.
Ball started out the cover with some dramatic piano chords while he crooned the lyrics with passion. His voice then climbed the scale while he pulled off some perfectly-balanced vibrato, totally immersing himself in the music. When it was time for the signature lyrics, Ball then riffed his heart out in a gentle tone before hitting a confident finishing note on the piano.
"A little song to start your week! 💙 I hope everyone is having a lovely time, and you enjoy this small rendition of one of my favourite songs 🎸🎹," he excitedly captioned the post.

A classic jazz standard, "Feeling Good" was originally written for the 1964 musical "The Roar of the Greasepaint - the Smell of the Crowd." The song was made famous by Simone and has been covered by Sammy Davis Jr, Michael Buble, Muse, Lauryn Hill, John Legend, and more.
