Tom Ball Put His Own Powerful Spin on Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely"

On May 21, the America's Got Talent: All-Stars Finalist took to his official Instagram page to share another lovely cover with his fans. This time, he chose to sing the touching tune "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder.
During the emotional performance, Ball played some piano chords gently and sang the moving lyrics while using some heavenly vibrato and perfectly placed falsetto. He also put his own unique spin on the cover, slowing down the tempo and adding some new riffs and belted notes.
In the caption, Ball revealed that he also recently celebrated a special occasion in his life.
"Beautiful Sunday celebrating my Brother in laws Birthday! #isnthelovely I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend and I’m so excited for the week ahead…" he wrote.
What to know about "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder
A song off of Wonder's iconic 1976 album Songs in the Key of Life, "Isn't She Lovely" tells the story of the birth of Wonder's daughter Aisha. The more than six-minute song is known for its introduction with a baby's cry and a harmonica solo played by Wonder.
The song was originally not released as a single as Wonder did not want to trim the length down, but it received so much radio airplay that it has since become an extremely well known tune in the jazz, soul, and R&B spaces.
"I remember writing "Isn't She Lovely?" — I can almost cry right now thinking about it. The sound of my daughter Aisha splashing in the bathtub created a picture. That was emotion stuck in a moment, and that can never, ever be taken away," Wonder himself told Oprah in 2004.
