Torrey DeVitto Is Engaged! See Pics of Her Ring and Surprise Proposal
The Chicago Med alum's boyfriend proposed this September.
Torrey DeVitto (Dr. Natalie Manning) said yes!
On September 25, the Chicago Med alum announced the news of her engagement to her boyfriend (now fiancé) Jared LaPine. In some gorgeous snapshots posted to her official Instagram page, she and LaPine stand outside on a bright, sunny day, and he has his arms wrapped around her lovingly. Then, he places a kiss on her cheek while she shows off her lovely ring to the camera.
"Earlier this month at 5 pm on a weekday while walking the back trails at the farm, still in my PJs and goat boots, he got down on one knee, in what I hoped wasn’t poison ivy, and asked for forever. My answer was obvious," she gushed in the caption.
Congratulations, Torrey and Jared! See photos from the proposal (and DeVitto's ring), below!

Torrey DeVitto's Chicago Med Season 8 finale cameo
DeVitto left Chicago Med after her character, Dr. Natalie Manning, was caught stealing medication to help her terminally ill mother. However, fans caught a glimpse of her in the Season 8 finale when her former fiancé, Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss), met her at the Seattle airport to rekindle their romance.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, DeVitto opened up about the experience filming the scene. “It was really short and sweet and beautiful — exactly what it needed to be,” she told the outlet. “[Will's] made the move to come be with her in Seattle, where she’s living now, and they kind of walk off into the sunset and you can assume they live happily ever after."
She continued, "I feel like I left the show on such a good note — it was just time to move on and time to go and time to grow, really. But it was always one of those things where I knew that if they asked me back, I would enjoy going back. Because, I mean, I love my cast so much. And especially, you know, Nick Gehlfuss and I had such an intense storyline together for six years."
