Usher Got Married in Vegas After His Iconic Super Bowl Halftime Show! Details

The former The Voice Coach wed his girlfriend after his Super Bowl Half Time show.

The former The Voice Coach (Seasons 4 and 6) tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Jennifer Goicoechea, as confirmed by People.

Usher marries Jennifer Goicoechea in Las Vegas on Superbowl Sunday

The ceremony took place on February 11 in Las Vegas, right after Usher performed his amazing 2024 Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show.

"We can confirm that Usher and Jennifer Goicoechea took the next step in their relationship and did get married on Sunday night in Las Vegas surrounded by close friends and family.  They both look forward to continuing to raise their children together surrounded by love and thank everyone for the well wishes," a representative told People

The couple tied the knot at Vegas Weddings' Terrace Gazebo. The "Love in this Club" singer's mother, Jonetta Patton, served as their witness.

The star also spoke to People the week before his big night, alluding to future plans with Goicoechea.

''When you find someone that you know is a great partner, of course it is an honor and a pleasure to be able to share life with someone who wants to share it with you and loves you, who you are," he said. "We've obviously made a commitment to life for life together because of our children.''

He continued: "We're going to be in each other's lives until we die, obviously, because we have something to share. That's beautiful. Our children. But not because of that. I really do feel like I have an amazing partner that I respect."

Goicoechea is a is a successful music executive. Currently, she is the senior vice president of A&R at Sony's Epic Records. She and Usher went public with their relationship in 2019, and now have two children together: Sovereign Bo, 3; and Sire Castrello, 2. Usher is also the father to "Cinco" V, 16, and Naviyd Ely, 15, with his ex-wife, Tameka Foster.

In November 2023, Usher gushed to People about his loving relationship with Goicoechea. 

"We have any amazing dynamic between our relationship where I'm able to be passionate still about what I do and have an incredible partner to work through some of the harder times as a young man dealing with children and dealing with the dynamic of how you communicate with them," he told the outlet. "I'm very happy, very fortunate to have an incredible friend, not just a partner.  She's my best friend and I love her."

Right before his wedding, Usher blew America away with his much-anticipated halftime performance at the 2024 Super Bowl.

There, he performed a whopping 14 song setlist which included some of his biggest hits, and brought out fellow former The Voice Coach Alicia Keys to sing a rendition of their 2004 hit ''My Boo.'' Other surprise performers were H.E.R., Ludacris, 'Lil John, and Jermaine Dupree.
