It used to be that to play Deal or No Deal, you just had to show up to the studio where the game show was being filmed, whether that was in Los Angeles (as was the case for the original 2005-2009 run) or Universal Studios Florida (where the 2018-2019 revival shot). But, the contestants on the new series Deal or No Deal Island needed to travel to the Banker’s private island and brave a whole bunch of tropical challenges in addition to the classic briefcase-opening game of odds and chance.

But luckily for residents of two American cities, they won’t need to make the trek all the way to that tropical island to go toe-to-toe with The Banker. Ahead of the series premiere on February 26 — in which 13 competitors will try their hand at winning a $200 million cash prize — Angelenos and New Yorkers can get a taste of the show with two fan experiences popping up in their cities.

How to Watch

Watch the Season 2 premiere of Deal or No Deal Island on Tuesday, January 7 at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock

On February 17 in Los Angeles and on February 22 in New York City, two fully immersive experiences will transport visitors to the Banker’s private island. While there, attendees can interact with the staircase to “The Temple,” the site of the high-stakes Deal or No Deal game that ends each episode.

Unlike the contestants, visitors won’t have to endure a physical challenge to get there, nor form an alliance to take home the biggest prize in Deal or No Deal history. Instead, they can enjoy direct access to the iconic briefcases, show content, and surprise appearances.
