No One Recognized Adam Levine Singing This Queen Cover with Maroon 5 in the Subway
Jimmy Fallon helped pull off a surprise mini-concert in this November 2017 clip from The Tonight Show.
A surprise Maroon 5 concert will stop anyone in their tracks, even busy New Yorkers.
In a November 2017 clip from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Host Jimmy Fallon does some "busking in disguise" with former The Voice Coach Adam Levine and his Maroon 5 bandmate James Valentine in the 47-50th Street subway station right below the Tonight Show's home in 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York.
"No one knows that this is going to happen," revealed Fallon right before their performance. "Nobody knows that it is Maroon 5. Let's do this."
The trio don wigs, hats, and fake facial hair to mask their true identities as they start their performance with an amazing cover of "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" by Queen.

Unsurprisingly, New Yorkers continue to rush by, thinking this is just your usual subway platform singer. But a crowd slowly begins to form as there are hints that this might be something special.
After they finish their Queen cover, Fallon tells the crowd, "We're going to do one more song for you guys—but first I'd like to say, hello, my name is Jimmy Fallon, and this is Maroon 5! Give it up New York City!"

This isn't the only time Fallon has serenaded subway riders.
Earlier this year, Fallon and Green Day gave an impromptu concert for commuters. Along with Green Day members Billie Joe, Mike Dirnt, and Tre Cool, Fallon performed a surprise six-song set to promote the rock band's latest album, Saviors.
The Tonight Show Host has also performed in the subway station below 30 Rock with other music legends such as Alanis Morissette, Christina Aguilera, U2, and former The Voice coach Miley Cyrus.
You never know when Fallon might show up with your fave to perform in disguise, so it might be a good idea to take out your headphones next time you're walking through the 50th Street station.
