Watch Steve Lacy's Dreamy SNL Performances of 'Bad Habit' and 'Helmet'
The SNL first-timer was excellent.
Steve Lacy knocked his debut Saturday Night Live musical appearance out of the park on November 5th, joining Host Amy Schumer for an all-around entertaining episode.
As an SNL first-timer, Lacy had the audience in the palm of his hand during his live performance of his singles "Bad Habit" and "Helmet" from his second studio album, Gemini Rights. Check out Lacy's mesmerizing SNL performances, below.
"Bad Habit"
The 24-year-old singer and guitarist gave a dreamy performance of his Billboard Hot 100 hit "Bad Habit," smiling throughout the entire song. Lacy looked sharp in a pair of his iconic Bernhard Willhelm 3 C1 mask sunglasses.
"Helmet"
Lacy closed out his debut SNL musical appearance with his psychedelic single, "Helmet." Embracing purple upbeat lighting for the track, Lacy sang about the impulse to keep your heart guarded after a breakup, with powerful lines like, "But lovin' you was a hazard, so I got my heart a helmet." With his renowned lyricism and equally-hailed stage presence, Lacy rocked this SNL set.
