What time is The Americas’ new episode on tonight, Sunday, April 13?
The Americas airs its 10th and final episode, "Patagonia," Sunday at 8 p.m. ET. Ahead of the new episode, you can also catch a repeat of Episode 7 of the series, "The Andes," at 7 p.m. ET.
Why group those two together? Well, to give viewers a night of South American splendor, of course. While "The Andes" covers the famous mountain region in South America, "Patagonia" will take us to the very bottom of the Americas, covering the southernmost region of South America, which makes up parts of both Chile and Argentina. There, we'll see everything from pumas hunting in the mountains to stag beetles in the trees on land, then turn to the oceans, where orcas learn to hunt and elephant seals assert themselves in the coastal regions.
And of course, it will all be rendered through beautiful imagery brought to life with the help of Hanks' narration, which was tailored specifically to the actor when he took the gig.

"Quite quickly, we started to write for him, his personality and his style," executive producer Mike Gunton told NBC Insider. "Each time we did a narration, it informed us again. I would say that as we progressed, we became even more Tom Hanks-like."
Gunton added, "In the recording studio, it was such a lovely creative process. We'd discuss a sequence, then we'd watch it and say, 'This is what we're trying to do.'"
How many episodes of The Americas are left?
Sadly, "Patagonia" does mark the finale of the original 10-episode run of the show, but that doesn't mean there's no more The Americas content to enjoy. On Sunday, April 20, NBC will broadcast a making-of special about how the show came together, from filming all those wonderful animals to putting together each episode to, of course, working with Hanks in the recording booth.
In the meantime, you can also go back and binge every episode of the series so far on Peacock!
