Who Will Face the Banker in the Deal or No Deal Island Season 2 Finale?
"We give away the biggest prize in television history," DONDI host Joe Manganiello has revealed.
We are just days away from the Season 2 finale of Deal or No Deal Island, and fans are sat to find out which of these island-savvy risk-takers will get the honor of battling the Banker for the chance of becoming the Season 2 champion.
The March 18 episode of DONDI was a wild ride as the Banker prepared a grueling Excursion for finalists Courtney Kim (C.K.), David Genat, and Alexis Lete, where they were forced to contemplate the bridges they'd burned to get that far in the game. Host Joe Manganiello met the players at a massive bridge over the ocean with a series of three challenges behind three doors.
Their objective was simple: Players needed to cross the finish line and lock in three briefcases as quickly as possible. Along the way, players would grab a briefcase from each station and complete a physical challenge to proceed. But the Banker designed a sick twist: Behind each of the three doors, finalists would reunite with a pair of their recently eliminated colleagues. Former allies could suggest which suitcases had the highest value and assist with the challenges. Conversely, scorned rivals could suggest low-value cases or impede progress in the physical obstacles.

The player with the slowest time to the finish line would be instantly eliminated, so strong alliances became paramount for success. As expected, C.K.'s trail of burnt bridges led her to struggle in the Excursion, while David and Lete thrived due to their ace social strategies throughout the game. However, David and Lete's strength and charm could only go so far; they needed to collect the highest value of cases to earn that coveted final game against the Banker.
"It's going to be close," Dickson Wong told Seychelle Cordero while watching David and Lete on the sidelines.
Who is facing the Banker during the DONDI Season 2 finale?
DONDI fans will have to wait until the Season 2 finale to figure out who faces the Banker, but the season's winner and runner-up have been solidified. After C.K. was instantly eliminated from the game, Lete and David emerged as our DONDI final two. Their strong alliances helped them soar through the challenge, but only the player with the highest value of cases would get the honor of facing the Banker. So, who won big?
Lete kicked off the briefcase opening, revealing she grabbed two of the three high-value cases after she selected a medium-value case from La Shell Wooten. Nonetheless, Lete brought in a hefty sum that demanded David have a case total higher than 5.5 million to beat her. David opened his cases, revealing that he had grabbed two high-value cases, just like Lete. The DONDI players knew it would be close between David and Lete, and they couldn't be more right.
Before David could open his final case, which would reveal who would get the honor of facing the Banker, the episode ended with a massive cliffhanger. Viewers must wait until the DONDI Season 2 finale to find out who wins a historic sum — and finally learn who's embodying the Banker in Season 2.
"The person that wins this season, we give away the biggest prize in television history," host Manganiello told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show in January. "It was the most insane thing I've ever seen. I don't know that I'm ever going to see anything like that again. And it's on film! We're giving that secret away!"
And when NBC Insider spoke with Parvati Shallow ahead of the penultimate episode (that led to her game's demise), she was quick to assure audiences how intense the final Banker battle is, too. "It's going to blow your mind," she said. "I could not believe what happened at the end of that game."
Watch the Season 2 finale of Deal or No Deal Island on Tuesday, March 25, at 9/8c on NBC.
