WWE's New Peacock Doc Reveals the Shocking Events Behind WrestleMania in 1993
Some of the best names in WWE appear in a new documentary to discuss the 1993 WrestleMania in Las Vegas.
Ahead of the WWE’s return to Las Vegas for WrestleMania 41, Peacock is taking fans back to the last time the event happened in Sin City with a documentary all about one of the most eventful and high-stakes nights in the company’s history.
The latest documentary from WWE dropping on Peacock is WrestleMania IX: Becoming a Spectacle, which promises to take viewers back to Caesars Palace in 1993 and pull back the curtain on all the action that took place in the ring. It will also highlight all the drama backstage that paved the path forward for WrestleMania to reach new heights as the biggest event on the WWE calendar.
It was certainly one of the most entertaining shows WWE has ever put on. Still, thanks to never-before-seen footage from the WWE archives featured in the documentary, fans will get an in-depth look at just how much went into the Caesars Palace event and all the many ways it could have gone wrong.
