Izzy Diaz plays the ever-so-slightly inebriated and beleaguered writer Isaac Aguero on NBC's new comedy "Telenovela."

On the big screen, Diaz appeared in Brian De Palma's Iraqi war drama "Redacted." His TV credits include "Parenthood," "Austin & Ally," "Lost," "Rules of Engagement," "Workaholics" and "Happy Endings."

On stage he has performed in "Abstraction," "The World's Worst Play Ever," "Rounded Off Edge" and "Who or Whom?"

He currently resides in East Massapequa, New York, with his family.
