Callie Thorne joins the cast of Season 2 as Captain Santiani on NBC's "The Mysteries of Laura."
For three years, Callie Thorne starred as Dr. Dani Santino on USA's "Necessary Roughness," opposite John Stamos. She was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance.
Thorne was recently seen on FX's critically acclaimed "The Americans" as Tori, a self-help convert who helps distract Stan from his ex-wife. She also recently starred on CBS's "NCIS: New Orleans" as Sasha, the daughter of a mob boss who atones for her family's past by assisting in a murder investigation in which her brother is the key suspect. Thorne can be seen on FX's "Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll" opposite Denis Leary, with whom she starred for seven years on the Emmy-nominated series "Rescue Me." Other television credits include FOX's "Prison Break," NBC's "ER," HBO's "The Wire," Showtime's "Californication," and USA's hit primetime shows "White Collar," "Burn Notice," and "Royal Pains." She got her break in 1998 as series regular Laura Ballard on NBC's critically acclaimed show "Homicide: Life on the Street."
Thorne's film credits include Ed Burns' "Nice Guy Johnny" (Myriad), "Watching the Detectives" (Peace Arch), "Analyze That" (Warner Bros.), "Delirious" (Peach Arch), "Welcome to Academia," "Hysterical Blindness" (HBO), "Sidewalks of New York" (Paramount) and "Next Stop Wonderland" (Miramax).
Thorne recently starred in the off-Broadway hit "The Money Shot" at MCC Theater. Additional theater credits include The Public Theater's "The Last Days of Judas Iscariot" directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman and with Sam Rockwell; "Gone Home" (Manhattan Theatre Club), directed by David Warren; "Fair Flight" (Naked Angels); "Joe Fearless" (Atlantic Theater Company); and "Slavs!" (Mark Taper Forum).
