Dan Rather

Dan Rather is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning journalist. He served as anchor and managing editor of CBS Evening News from 1981 to 2005. After leaving CBS, Rather created and hosted Dan Rather Reports from 2006 until 2013. He currently serves as CEO and president of News and Guts, an independent production company he founded in 2015. Rather also published the memoir Rather Outspoken: My Life in the News in 2012.
