A partnership with director Guy Ritchie helped launch the career of Jason Statham, who made his big screen debut in 1998's Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and again worked with Ritchie on 2000's Snatch. The success of both films led to Statham's casting in 2002's The Transporter, which spawned sequels in 2005 and 2008, and 2003's The Italian Job. In 2010, Statham joined The Expendables franchise, followed by the Fast and Furious franchise in 2015. He also starred opposite Melissa McCarthy in Spy. Statham next reprises the role of Arthur Bishop in Mechanic: Resurrection.
