Actor Jeffrey Tambor's career kicked off with a recurring role on Hill Street Blues from 1981 to 1987 as Judge Alan Wachtel. In 1992, he joined The Larry Sanders Show as Hank Kingsley, Sanders' sidekick, and scored four Emmy nominations during the series' six-year run. Tambor next starred as George Bluth Sr. on Arrested Development, scoring two more Emmy nods during the show's three-season run on Fox. In 2014, he began playing Maura Pfefferman on Amazon's Transparent, winning two Emmys for the role. The actor's memoir, Are You Anybody?, will be published on May 16.
