Canadian actor and funnyman Jim Carrey rose to prominence with a recurring role on the sketch comedy show In Living Color and a string of successful films throughout the 1990s, such as Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, The Mask, Dumb and Dumber, The Cable Guy and Liar, Liar. Later roles saw him try his hand at drama, such as in The Truman Show, Man on the Moon and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but Carrey returned to comedy with 2011's Mr. Popper's Penguins. His semi-autobiographical novel, Memoirs and Misinformation, co-written by Dana Vachon, is out now.
