Actor Martin Lawrence is best known for his self-titled Fox series and the films Bad Boys, Blue Streak and Big Momma's House. He got his big break in Spike Lee's 1989 film Do the Right Thing and starred in House Party a year later. Shortly after, he became the host of HBO's Def Comedy Jam and simultaneously starred in Martin from 1992 to 1997. Following the show's conclusion, Lawrence scored box office success with 1999's Blue Streak, 2000's Big Momma's House, 2003's Bad Boys II, two more Big Momma sequels and 2020's Bad Boys for Life. He also starred in FX's TV show Partners. Lawrence can next be seen starring in the film Bad Boys: Ride or Die, which releases in theaters in June 2024.
