Megan Rapinoe

Megan Rapinoe is an American professional soccer player who played in the National Women’s Soccer League and on the United States national team. In 2019, she was named The Best FIFA Women’s Player and became the second-ever winner of the Ballon d’Or Feminin. Rapinoe is also known for her activism and hosted the talk show special Seeing America with Megan Rapinoe, which premiered August 2020 on HBO. Most recently, Rapinoe led the U.S. women’s national soccer team to victory in the 2021 SheBelieves Cup. Sue Bird and Rapinoe are relaunching their Vox Media sports and pop culture podcast, A Touch More Live.
