Pete Townshend is the Grammy-winning lead singer-songwriter and guitarist for The Who. He co-founded the band with Roger Daltrey and John Entwistle in the 1960s. Outside of his work with The Who, Townshend has released seven solo studio albums, including Empty Glass and Psychoderelict. In addition to his work as a musician, Townshend has written countless articles and essays for publications like Rolling Stone magazine. He released an autobiography titled Who I Am in 2012, followed by his debut novel, The Age of Anxiety, in 2019. His rock musical, The Who’s TOMMY, returns to Broadway in March 2024.
