Ron Howard

Ron Howard is an Oscar-winning actor, director and producer. Early in his career, he starred as Opie Taylor on The Andy Griffith Show and Richie Cunningham on Happy Days. Howard switched gears to directing with 1977's Grand Theft Auto. He has most notably directed Cocoon, Splash, Apollo 13, A Beautiful Mind, Cinderella Man, The Da Vinci Code, Frost/Nixon and Rush. Most recently Howard directed Jim Henson: Idea Man, a documentary centered around Jim Henson that will be available to stream on Disney+ on May 31.
