Senator Ted Cruz

Senator Ted Cruz is the junior senator from Texas and a Republican presidential candidate. Prior to being elected in 2012, Cruz served as the solicitor general of Texas. He was the nation's youngest solicitor general, the longest-serving solicitor general in Texas and the first Hispanic solicitor general of Texas. He also previously clerked for Chief Justice William Rehnquist on the U.S. Supreme Court.
