Talking Heads is an American new wave band that formed in 1975 and consists of members David Byrne, Chris Frantz, Tina Weymouth and Jerry Harrison. They released their debut album Talking Heads: 77 in 1977 and since then have released eight studio albums with their latest, Naked, being released in 1988. In 2002, Talking Heads were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Most recently, in honor of the 40th anniversary of their 1981 concert film Stop Making Sense, the film began streaming on HBO in May 2024. The band also released the album Everyone's Getting Involved: A Tribute to Talking Heads' Stop Making Sense.
