Singer-songwriter Yusuf, formerly known as Cat Stevens, scored his musical breakthrough with the 1970 album Tea for the Tillerman and 1971's Teaser and the Firecat. After embracing Islam in 1977 and starting a family, Yusuf walked away from his recording career to focus on humanitarian efforts around the world. He returned to music in 2006 with the release of An Other Cup. Roadsinger followed in 2009, and his most recent and 14th album, Tell 'Em I'm Gone, was released in 2014. That same year, Yusuf was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
