CARLOS SANTIAGO

Bio

Growing up in Caguas, Puerto Rico, Carlos’ musical journey began at age 3, singing in church and imitating his aunt’s choir directing. Born into a family where music was woven into every celebration, he developed his talents alongside his parents, who often performed as a duo. At 13, Carlos moved with his family to Florida. He found solace in music to help with the transition, especially with the classical guitar gifted to him by his father, who later secretly submitted Carlos’ audition to “The Voice.” After receiving a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from Southeastern University, Carlos now shares his passion as an adjunct voice professor at Lipscomb University, inspiring young students while working as a session artist with choirs in his free time. Recently married to his wife, Katherine, he now focuses on songwriting and creating original music.
