Bio

Born in Brooklyn and raised in Baltimore, Dimitrius was surrounded by music from a young age, with his Broadway performer mother and DJ father providing a rich musical foundation. His journey began in church, singing gospel solos alongside his mother's hymns, sparking his deep passion for performance. In high school, Dimitrius thrived in musical theater, notably as the Scarecrow in “The Wiz.” Inspired by Luciano Pavarotti, he pursued classical vocal opera at Morgan State University, mastering challenging arias like “Carmina Burana” and other classical works. After graduating, he moved to New York and won first place at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, launching his professional career. Later, he earned a top 10 placement on a major talent show, further solidifying his presence in the music industry. Today, Dimitrius blends his operatic training with contemporary influences, creating a unique sound that is available on all major streaming platforms.
