JOZY BERNADETTE

Jozy began performing at a young age, balancing music with her other passion, basketball. Her father had a brief stint in the NBA but retired due to injury. She decided to quit basketball after high school to focus on singing, while her boyfriend continues to play professionally in Belgium. At 18, Jozy competed in a singing contest, which allowed her to record an EP. She sang at weddings and then in 2016 moved to Minneapolis to pursue music opportunities. Instead, she landed a job as a staffing recruiter and finds it difficult to pursue her musical interests.
